Merry Christmas to all our wonderful clients and supporters. Because of your support we have grown during the year to a team of eight, over 40 organisations and businesses we support and we look forward to an even bigger year in 2012.

Having worked with many professionals, individuals and families who were affected by the floods earlier this year and having family who were affected by the quake in Christchurch and our family home in Tasmania that was alao affected by the floods, it certainly has been a chalenging and difficult year for many people. 

The team at Amovita has been amazed by the resilience and coping mechanisms of people to go one, to rebuild houses and lives. Of those in business or running organisations that managed to continue working and rebuild. Your strength, resilience and belief in hope is truly humbling. 

We are so blessed to be working in Amovita doing what we love the most, inspiring and motivating professionals, executives, businesses and organistions for high performance.

What have been some of the highlights for Amovita this eyar. So many but a few to share with you. We have increased our team, we won 2 business awards, increased our client portfolio, held our first Amovita Awards night, showcasing some of the human services organisations that we provide a range of professional services to. From the feedback received it was a great evening and thank you to all of you that attended to make the night a great success. 

We are also exctied to bring to you our 2011 Annual Report. When gathering and analysing the information to bring to you it is truly amazing to see how many service hours we have provided this year, how many organisations and businesses we have worked with. Thank you again for your support.

Amovita Consulting commenced with one main goal in mind - to insprie and motivate business and organisations to reach high performance. It is wonderful to see so many of you whether non government, government or corporate reaching your goals and that we have been a partner in the process.

What is in the pipeline for next year???

We are developing a range of new services and exctied that Sally Cooper one of our Senior Consultants will be heading up our HR Division and rolling out our Activate and Engage Programs

These two new programs will see a more innovative way to engage your staff in Employee Support Programs and we encourage you to read about these programs on our website and view Sally's background.

If you are keen to change your EAP provider in the new year, please think about coming on board with Amovita. We provide a very responsive and high quality service. Check out our two new programs.   Read more.....

We are also in the process of developing a Leaders of Excellence group to partner with Amovita on key business growth and innovation. If you know of a high level leader that is like minded to Amovita please let us know. We are looking for 6 leaders in the sector that are high performance thinkers, have an acute political and business acumen and that can spare a couple of hours a month to join the executive team at Amovita to plan for the future.

We are also in the process of developing our new Leadership for Excellence program. We are often asked to develop and facilitate high level programs and so with lots of requests we are going to be running this program once through the year for leaders and managers. The program will be divided into 3 key areas: for new managers and leaders, for those that would like to review and hone their skills and knowlege and for those executives looking for something innovative and new in leadership.

I look forward to bringing your more on this in the new year.

We are also farewelling one of our team who is going back to the UK for a year, the wonderful Rebecca Stephens. Rebecca has been with the team for nearly two years and has been instrumental in guiding and developing our Training Division. She is a well respected and high quality professional whom many of you will have worked with as part of our range of services and programs. Rebecca will remain with the team from the UK of which will mean we now have a global reach into Hong Kong, France and the UK. Rebecca thank you from the team, we wish you and your family all the best in your travel and look forward to your return to Australia.

Amovita Awards Night

   

Amovita recently celebrated our client achievements with our inaugral Awards Night on the 28th November.

Held at the Story Bridge Hotel, the evening showcased some of our clients across human and community services sectors that have supported and shared our journey over the last 3 years. 

We recognised 10 client organisations and businesses who have supported Amovita to reach a successful milestone as a way of saying thank you. Because of you we have continued to grow and be recognised across various industries and sectors as a high quality provider of a range of services and programs.

We were delighted that Vicki Brown, a successful business woman, an accomplished successful best-selling author joined us and inspired our guests as she spoke about her career and her recently published book, “The Chef and I”. Her enthusiasm and positive professional style was inspiring and motivating. 

Vicki has already impacted others with her wonderful messages and we continue to hear stories about how others are engaging her ideas. From Maloolaba on the Sunshine Coast Vicki and co-author Paul Leete have brought togehter the finest in Queensland seafood to showcase health and well being in the one book.

Amovita Christmas Party

   

The Amovita team celebrated the year with barefoot bowls at Camp Hill Bowls Club. 

As everyone who has celebrated their year with barefoot bowls it brings out all sorts of wonderful things in each other and you find by the end of the evening that you have laughed so much your stomach or mouth hurts.

Enjoying our bowls with the lovely Brisbane city in the background is a great way to catch up as a team to celebrate and relax followed by a lovely thai meal also at the bowls club - try it very nice.

In 2012 Amovita in partnership with Andrew Williams from Enhancing Community Business will be delivering:

"A Way with Words: Tender Writing"

The workshop is highly interactive and is designed to give participants a clear “ideas scaffold” in preparing their next bid. Staff from well over 100 agencies across a number of states have attended our workshops.
