Dear Subscriber,

Welcome to the second quarter of 2011 (can you believe it?). Like many people, we at Amovita have had a very busy start to 2011 and we are looking forward to what the rest of the year holds.

This newsletter is jammed packed of articles that will inspire and engage you. We have our new book of the month, our new blog ‘What You Want’ and we are highlighting what Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are all about.

But it doesn’t stop there, we also have a list of the training that we will be delivering in April and a sneak preview of our May training programs.

So as you can see, we are continuing in our busyness at Amovita and with this busyness comes growth and with this growth comes the need for us to expand our team. We are looking for positive, professional and empowering Associate Professionals to join our team, in the area’s of Training, HR, Mediation and Counselling. If you want to join the Amovita team or know of someone who is looking for a change, then direct them to our Employment Opportunities page on our website.

Have a great month everyone and we hope to see you at one of our training programs or in your workplace soon.

Until next time,
Tracey and the Amovita team

We all experience challenges both in our personal and work life at times. These challenges can have impact us in the workplace.

The most effective way to face the challenges and resolve issues that are impacting, is to talk to someone else who can help you.

Having someone else listen to what is happening for you and support you at a time of need can really make a difference.

Someone who has the professional expertise to provide you with the strategies and options is of great value.

The biggest step is making the decision to do something about the challenges or issues you are facing and then finding someone who can help you.

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a range of counselling services to all staff in the client organisation. This service is free and confidential to staff and they are able to access the service when you need it the most.

Amovita Consulting offers EAP's that benefits both the employee and employer.

Through creating a positive partnership with each of our clients, we work with you to ensure your staff are healthy in their roles by ensuring our confidential EAP services support you at the pro-active stage instead of the restorative stage.

Contact us to day to talk about implementing an EAP service in your organisation.

This months blog - Get What You Want

Inline

For most of us, asking for what we want is the hardest thing that we can ever do and I hate to disappoint one of the most followed bands of all times, The Rolling Stones, but I don’t believe the song lyrics You Can’t Always Get What You Want, because I believe I can get exactly what I want.

What YOU Think about Amovitas training

Inline

It's enlightening and valuable and is used as a tool in workplaces!

“Thank you so much for an enlightening and most valuable work shop, I absolutely believe professional supervision is such an important process and have commenced implementing regular and structured professional supervision for my team with expectations that this will in time transform my support workers to become a more cohesive team, more confident, better skilled, better aligned with our organisational values/philosophies and feel far more supported within our workplace.

Being a “glass half full” kind of person I see this process as a “must do and do well” tool for all work places, keep at it Tracey as the work you do is very important!”
